Scouts and Scouters!
I am happy to say that my work day on Saturday was very successful as we cut all of the wood for the two benches and put the majority of one of them together. Thank you so much to Ian Phillips, Blake cleary the Witherspoons, Ratzlaffs, Hayes's, Cernillis, Mr. Zimmerer and Mr. Parisi for showing up and helping out.  My next workday will be Saturday, January 28.  This will also be at my house, and we will be finishing construction of the benches and table so they are ready to go into the ground.  I will send out another email closer to the date with more information on times, etc.  If you would like to help me by volunteering on this workday, or if you have any questions email me back.

Scout Sunday - Mark Your Calendar

Posted on Jan 13 2012 - 9:52am

Scout Sunday
On February 5th, troop 87 will host Scout Sunday. This is one of the most important events in our troop because the church is who supports us and provides us with the materials to have this hut we are in right now. We have been with the Presbyterian Church for 60 years now, and we need to show our support for them. We meet at the Scout hut at 7:30 AM and hand fliers out at the Baptist Church at the 7:45 service. Then, at 10:30 we go the Presbyterian Church and hand out fliers for their 11:15 service. This is a great and easy way to show our support for these two churches and remember, a Scout is Reverent.
