Appalachian Trail Hike

Posted on Apr 20 2012 - 11:23am

This Appalachian Trail hike has been changed to another option. The Adventure continues on a portion of section three of the Appalachian Trail. Visit Stover Creek falls and ancient writings on the rocks. Saturdays hike varies based on age and experience of scouts. Be sure to bring a fanny pack or very small day pack to carry lunch, water and some snacks for part of Saturday before backpacks are needed. Mr Bowden will possible ferry the packs for younger scouts for a portion of your hike. Sunday is an easy 3.8 miles to Three Forks. We should arrive at three forks by 12 noon and be home by 2:00 to 2:30 pm.
